A cup of joy to die from like a Peanut Butter Chocolate Parfait from a fun Cakes to Die For shop on main street Frederick in Maryland. It’s a bit of a drive from the city, but this town is worth traveling with some great foodie places. We already had one dessert, but we couldn’t resist and go for a second one after seeing these parfaits. Ah, so glad we went for this pure joy in every spoon. Multiple layers of smooth texture and sweetness just brought a smile to this hungry monster’s face. A dessert that might make you slow down and take your time to enjoy it. A thick and yet soft layer of chocolate with swirly soft peanut butter and more chocolate underneath. It doesn’t taste like there is too much sugar or that it’s heavy. It was just the right amount of everything for a great dessert on ago while enjoying the beautiful area and shops. Large enough of a dessert to split with a friend, or like greedy us eat by yourself.
This place does have a $10 minimum for using a debit or credit card, so unless you want to buy more sweets, make sure to bring cash. They also do not accept American Express.
