Deep Fried Pork Dumplings
I would deep fry the world. I love the possibility of deep-frying my dumplings and making them extra crunchy. Why, you ask? I say, why not? Let’s deep-fry everything, especially when it’s just a $5 appetizer. We were very excited to try some very nomnom dumplings finally. I thought pork filling was delicious and worked nicely with light dough wrapping. The only big issue was the 1 hour wait time at our Sunday dinner table. Well, it’s not a big problem. I was not upset since it was worth it in the end. We will try during the week next time when it is not as busy.

Seafood Dumpling
Bring more dumplings when it’s just $5. We decided to get our seafood pan-fried vs. our pork dumplings deep-fried. These dumplings were lighter, with seafood fillings having fewer flavors. Still, I enjoyed these very much with a nice sauce. We were out of dumplings very fast and needed some more. The only big issue was the 1 hour wait time at our Sunday dinner table. Well, not a big problem; I was not upset since it was worth it in the end. We will try during the week next time when it’s not as busy.

Kimchi Ramen $10
Get ramen crazy with us! I enjoyed the spicy kimchi part of this ramen. It wasn’t too much and did not overpower everything else—so much meat. I was shocked by how much stuff we had in there. Many places tend to cheap out on the meat and give you three pieces, but not here. Here, I was barely able to finish everything. The whole thing was terrific, and I want to return and get some more!!! The only big issue was the 1 hour wait time at our Sunday dinner table. Well, not a big problem. I was not upset since it was worth it in the end. We eat the best ramen in town for just $10. Hell yea! We will try during the week next time when it’s not as busy.

Taipei Curry Chicken Ramen
Bring on the BURN! It’s great to come back to our favorite ramen place of 2012. It wasn’t as spicy as I thought but had a nice little kick. Dam, it was like chicken ramen heaven! One spice is not enough, so they went with five-spice fried chicken. HELL YEA! It is not your usual place with a little bit of everything. No, there is a lot of everything in there. I knew I should have stopped, but it was so good that I couldn’t. I love soft eggs, veggies, pickled ginger, and more. My tummy hated me for finishing the whole thing, and it was a food coma! This is not cheap ramen, but it is worth it. It is an experience you must try. I can’t wait to come back and try more.
